This is a spectacular plate from New Jersey with footprints made by the Early crocodylomorph Batrachopus from the famous and long closed Clifton UBC Quarry, West Paterson, New Jersey site. These tracks were made by some of the earliest known crocodilians which co-existed with the Early Dinosaurs. Found in the Upper Passaic formation in W. Paterson, NJ These pieces are Early Jurassic in Age, 200 million years old. This site is permanently closed with no new material coming out and produced some of the most quality tracks and traces out there! They can only be obtained through old collections and these rare footprints are amazing examples of a trackway from this site!
