A rare and beautifully preserved Swedish Lazarol för toaletten (Lazarol “for the toilet”) glass bottle, produced by the Lazarol-Fabriken of Stockholm around 1900–1910. These finely made toiletry and antiseptic bottles were sold throughout Scandinavia during the late Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) period as part of a line of household and wound-wash products.
This example retains its original crown and cork stopper—a feature rarely surviving today, and absent even from most museum examples. All original paper labels remain intact, including the main Lazarol crest and back instruction label, showing minor but honest age and discoloration. Comparable specimens are cataloged in both the Nordiska Museet and Skellefteå Museum collections in Sweden, each dated ca. 1900–1910 and noted as produced by Lazarol-Fabriken, Stockholm.
