1985 was the last year, Mercedes built the gorgeous W123 series 2 door coupes. They only made 8007 of the turbo diesel version coupe and you do not see them often in this condition and this rare color. This car was finished in Anthracite Grey (MB color code 172) with black leather interior. The leather was a rare option for the W123 series and it looks very elegant in black. 
This car spent its life in Arizona, Texas and California. There is no rust and it has mostly been garaged. It has always been pampered and it shows. I just recently drove it back from Houston to Los Angeles nonstop. It was a 1600 mile trip without any kind of problems. It performed like a much newer car. These W123 series cars were built in a time, when cars were made to last a lifetime and not just until the next years model comes along or your lease expires. This 300CD only has been driven 129k miles, which is considered low mileage for this car. It did receiver a new battery a few months ago and i have it at my mechanics for a service after the long trip and in preparation for the sale .
