Condition: Jersey exhibits minor signs of use, but overall in great shape, especially for a 50+ year old jersey. There appears to have been a number swap from 2 to 5 at some point. Back in the day, jerseys were commonly recycled, especially for fringe roster players whose jersey wear and tear was minimal.

The iconic Cubs home pinstripe jerseys have undergone very few changes over the years, but this one features a skinnier circle on the front logo that was worn from 1957-1978 as well as the tan and blue Cub logo on the left sleeve that was worn from 1962 to 1978. This 1973 model jersey is the very first year of the pullover style that became super popular throughout the MLB in the 70s and 80s.

This 52 year old jersey would make an excellent addition to any Cubs fan’s collection. Snag this piece of history now before it’s gone for good!
