Wicked Edge WE120 Micro-Adjustable Precision Sharpener, No Base

The WE120 Sharpener has all the great features as the WE100, but in addition, it includes a longer Degree Bar and a Riser Block which extend the angle range to 13-35 degrees per side. It also includes the Micro-Adjustable Ball-Joint system which allows for angle changes in 0.05-degree increments. This is the same sharpening system that has been included with the Pro-Pack II for years, but with a basic stone set.

The Wicked Edge is a precision engineered, angle guided manual sharpening machine. It was designed to very exacting standards to consistently deliver an incredible, razor sharp edge. While the results are excellent, it is easy to use and does not require special knowledge or skills to use. Made in the USA.

What Wicked Edge Recommends for the Base:

Wicked Edge states that the Precision Sharpener series (including the WE120) is supplied without a base and “requires a base to secure the sharpener,” but that base can be either one of their pre-made bases or any suitable bench / platform you provide. They provide a downloadable mounting template and instructions specifically for mounting the blue WE base to a bench or a custom platform


Mounting Directly to a Wood Table:

According to the official mounting guide, you can:​

Print their template (available on their website), position it where you want the sharpener, and mark the two mounting holes.

Users commonly mount Wicked Edge systems directly to desks, wood blocks, granite slabs, etc., and Wicked Edge even notes that many people make their own wood or metal bases instead of buying the branded ones.​

If you plan to mount it straight to a wood workbench, you will need to supply your own appropriately sized wood or machine screws and washers for that bench thickness.
