Warning

Warning these ZWB3 UV filters have metal infused in the glass, over time the metal will Oxidise on the surface of the glass, this is something I have just found out about, the oxidisation does not affect the filter much is it is UV transparent, but it looks bad, so I now include a small bag of Cerium Oxide powder to polish out the surface when necessary , can be done with an old tee shirt or better still a Dremel

Read everything bellow.
For sale a 58mm UV Pass " Ultraviolet " filter for use on a full spectrum modified camera, photos above are typical of the results when a very strong UV light is also used.
This is not a toy

The photos attatched were taken by people who know how to work with UV filters, don't expect these results if you are just going to play around, you wont get them and you will be disappointed.

This is not a toy

I sell many IR filters of different wavelengths, they are all fun to use, but there is quite an element of work goes in to getting good results from a UV Pass filter, its not a toy, I use a Small but powerful UV light when using these filters, I can recommend to anyone interested.

Don't buy if you are not prepared to put in some work.

Not a TOY don/t buy unless you are prepare to put time effort and a lot of UV light in to it.

I have attatched a Spectral Transmission Graph, that shows where the visible light is cut-off, and also shows that it leaks some IR light, that won't be a problem if you use a powerful UV light.

I was told by a customer that if you use old manual flash guns with the plastic cover removed ( the cover cut almost all of the UV light out ) they work quite well. This sounds like an inexpensive way to get lots of UV light.

Don't buy if in doubt, I don't like to disappoint, please look at my IR filter instead.

If you do not have a Full Spectrum Converted camera don't even consider this filter.

It should also be noted that most modern lenses do their best to block UV light, best to use old manual focus lenses from the 60's to 80's thankfully these are easy to find and quite cheap.

I also sell UV lightbulbs check my listing or ask me for quote
