PLEASE NOTE: Be sure to read the entire listing before placing a bid.  Pay special attention to my stipulations regarding non-paying bidders and bid cancellations.

Paul Buff Alien Bee B800 black studio flash unit.  This unit was used less than a dozen times a year over 4 years.  Very lightly used.  Fully functional.  Includes everything you see, the strobe with modeling lamp, protective cover and standard reflector as well as the sync cord and power cord.  What you see is exactly what you get.

Non-paying bidders-Seems to be epidemic these days for people to bid, often actively and aggressively only to win and then cancel the order  This is unacceptable.  As a seller I put tremendous effort into offering items on auction versus buy-it-now.  During the course of an auction I answer questions as well as monitor bidding.  When a bidder wins and does not pay that is an affront not only to me as a seller but to all those who also bid on the item and did not win.  Offering items via 2nd chance offer after a bidder does not pay almost never works.  Items offered for sale again after not being paid for almost never receive as many bids and over 99% of the time (based on 25 years of experience) sell for as much the 2nd time around.   Also keep in mind that when you place a bid it might be the bid that causes someone else to not bid and disengage from the auction at that point.  An increasingly common practice on ebay is for bidders to bid on 2 of the same item and then wait until both auctions are over so they can cancel the item that was higher price and the follow through and buy the cheaper item.  This is incredibly damaging to the seller, not to mention the other honest bidders who bid.   Most egregious is the bidder who bids aggressively in the remaining seconds of an auction only to then, within seconds of the end of the auction contact me to cancel the order.  If you don't intend to follow through DO NOT BID.

Bid cancellations.  Do not ever cancel your bid without contacting me first and providing a substantive explanation FIRST.   Failure to do so will result in you being placed on my blocked bidder list.  Over 75% of bids canceled were placed so the bidder could see where the current high bid price is on an auction.  This has always been against ebay rules and over the years the practice as increased.  Bid cancellations should not be allowed in my view.  My first 15 years on ebay I averaged having 1 canceled bid per 125 items sold.  The last few years I average having 1 canceled pid every 2 items sold.  That is an increase of many thousands of percent and is unacceptable as it disrupts the auction process for countless sellers and bidders.
