500 bare-rooted Hawthorn hedging plants 40-60cm tall. Top Quality!

Including FREE GIFT!

Hawthorn is a native tree and hedgerow plant found throughout the UK and Europe. This thorny hedging shrub is planted extensively to divide fields and contain livestock. Hawthorn can also be planted domestically as a security hedge to deter unwanted visitors. Trim just once or twice per year to keep your hedge looking good.

Hawthorn hedges are wildlife sanctuaries, providing secure nesting sites and a food source for wild birds. Mammals also use hedgerows as a food source and protection from predators.

Hawthorn hedges are usually planted in a double staggered row. 30cm apart and 30cm between the rows; 7 plants per metre. 500 Hawthorn plants will be enough to plant 70m of hedgerow.
