1860-80'S RIBBON AND SWAG EMBOSSED CAST IRON BACKPLATE FOR KEROSENE OIL BRACKET LAMP

1860-80's fancy cast iron embossed patterned backplate for a bracket lamp. Ribbon and swag patterned, with an embossed crosshatch patterned match striker. The original fancy cast backplate is approximately 3 3/4" by 2 1/2"; center ID of cylindrical hole for bracket arm peg is approximately 7/8". Wonderful condition, no cracks breaks or repairs to the lamp. Often difficult to find fancy patterned backplate to complete your lamp.
