- Magnificent work from the late 19th century attributed to Gustave Achille GUILLAUMET (French, 1840-1887) He belongs to the generation of Orientalist painters who focused on rendering light and atmosphere. He marks a turning point in this 19th-century artistic movement. A student of François Édouard Picot and Louis-Ernest Barrias at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he exhibited at the Salon from 1861 to 1880.
