Description:

The Bio-Rad GS-900 is a high-precision, calibrated densitometer for the quantitative analysis of proteins, nucleic acids and other biomolecules on gel and membrane supports. The system is optimized for professional blot and gel documentation and is ideal for applications in molecular biology, biochemistry, proteomics and clinical research.

With a highly sensitive CCD camera, automatic calibration and a precise optical system, the GS-900 delivers repeatable, linear data over a wide dynamic range. The included Bio-Rad ImageLab software enables comprehensive quantitative evaluation, including band analysis, volume determination, normalization and report generation.

The device supports numerous membrane and staining methods (e.g. Coomassie, silver, Ponceau S, blotting with HRP/AP or dye conjugates) and delivers reliable results even with weakly expressed targets.
