USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht Flag

This flag was flown on the USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht's national tour in the mid-1980s.

The yacht has served nine presidents from 1933-1977, including FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Carter. It was was later restored to become a national treasure, including a national tour.

The flag measures 5' x 8', produced by Valley Forge Flag Company.

This flag was given to a couple who had presented the yacht with a brand new flag during its tour as it was beginning to show its age.

Provenance documentation, including a letter from the captain is provided, along with other documentation of the yacht's history.

The flag is currently triangle folded with it's documentation.
