Background (additional)

The couple met following WW2 – he was Polish, she American – both worked to prosecute Nazi war criminals, she a court report, he speaking 5 languages was an interrogator.  After further education in Chicago he became a US Citizen.  Starting in 1954 they lived in Europe for decades. He worked in commerce; she a great supporter of the arts. And, oh, he was rumored CIA.
