Description: A water worn cobble of banded iron formation from the approximately 2.4 billion year old (Paleoproterozoic) Brockman Iron Formation, part of the Hamersley Group in the Mount Bruce Supergroup of Western Australia. The rock has been photographed wet to display its vibrant colours.
