I works with a battery which provides an autonomy of around 150 hours. When battery is dead you can simply replace it with a new one, code CR425. Simple to change and easy to use in only a few seconds.

After casting the rod, just hand this bite indicator on the main line between guide 1 and guide 2. Once you get a bite you will see the indicator to lift or drop, depending on the direction the fish will pull.
