SCSI Knife, a ZuluSCSI⢠product using a RPI 2350B processor, with MDB50 interface.
This is a modern top-of-the-line SCSI SD card reader storage device for your vintage SCSI-based musical sampler. It has 100% compatibility with the samplers noted. It works just like the noted ZuluSCSI Pico Slim, though it does not have Initiator Mode (ancillary function) and is about 15% larger in size.
------------------------
Like ZuluSCSI, SCSI Knife comes a LONG WAY from the fixed single-ID SCSI Hard Drives of the past. SCSI Knife works as up to 7 drives simultaneously, using large image files on the computer-formatted SD Card. Using image files makes it easily compatible with computers and management and conversion programs such as Chicken System's Translator software (Mac/Win).
Comes with your choice of case color, a 64GB Micro SD card all set up
with images corresponding to your sampler choice. At least one of the
images has a full set of instruments for you to test and use on your
sampler.
Our SCSI Knife comes plug-and-play ready - just take it out of the box and plug it into the external SCSI port of your sampler. If your sampler requires a bootable OS, it is provided on the images we supply. Some samplers require you to supply external power; in those situations we supply a USB cable and wall charger for you to plug into the USB port.
Another important note: You might have not seen your sampler/host on the options above. This is because the SCSI Knife has a MDB50 SCSI connector, and your 'unseen" sampler/host has something different (CEN50 or DB25). There is a SCSI Knife that has a CEN50 connector, find that on eBay. There is a ZuluSCSI Pico Slim that works the exact same way but has a DB25 connector, also look on eBay for that.
We offer full 100% quality customer support for these devices over phone or email. We have an intimate knowledge of all samplers.
