The Covaris CP02 cryoPREP is an automated tissue digestion device for dry sample homogenization under cryogenic conditions. Developed for the controlled comminution of frozen biological sample material - e.g. B. tissue, tumor samples or bones – the system enables reproducible and efficient pulverization without thermal stress.
The CP02 uses precisely controlled mechanical impact force to break up frozen samples while they are dry. This preserves sensitive biomolecules such as RNA, DNA, proteins and metabolites in their native state - ideal for downstream applications such as genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics.
The specially developed cryoPREP tools TT1, TT2 and TT05 are included, which support different sample volumes and formats and thus offer maximum flexibility for different applications.
