Early 1965 Guild Mark III Classical Guitar - Rare Vintage USA Made w/ case.

Purchased from original owner who bought it new in 1965! The serial number confirms it. It is on the tag and stamped inside on the neck brace as it should be.

Overall nice condition. All original parts - tuners, bridge, etc.

No cracks or splits. One dent (lower right front). But not bad.

Some finish that came off neck (common on this model pictured).

Just put a new set of Martin strings on. I tie the nylon strings at the top end too. I can see some cracks on them but function fine (pictured).

The action is a little high. Measuring about 3/8” at the 12th fret. Could benefit from a neck re-set in the future.

All of that being said it is a very nice sounding guitar. I have attached a video. Pardon the playing!
