Dandy Comic #997 December 31st 1960 GD+ RARE

Condition is grade GD+. Clean pages with vibrant colours. Bottom portion of spine slightly rolled over - this defect could easily be fixed. Small area of loss out of the bottom right corner of the penultimate panel of cover story. Slight grubbiness along the spine edge and a couple small nicks around page edges. Slight 'nibbling' to bottom edge of comic. A very nice cover illustration.

Condition guide:

We grade our comics with a 8 grade system, with PR being the lowest grade and NM being the highest. The grades are as follows

Incomplete - Pages missing
Poor (PR) - The lowest grade, major wear and tear including large creases, tears, stress, pieces missing etc
Fair (FR) - Extensive wear to include creasing and tearing. May have staining or foxing to pages
Good (GD) - Some wear to include creasing and tanning as well as spine stress.
Very Good (VG) - Minimal wear to include small creases or tears
Fine (FN) - Very minimal wear with very few signs of wear such as creases and tears
Very Fine (VFN) - Almost no wear to comic. May have slight spine stress
Near Mint (NM) - In almost as new condition

A + or a - on the end of a grade indicates that the condition of the comic is close to the grade boundary of a neighbouring grade.

Any major issues with the comic not mentioned in the condition bracket will be described in the description above where possible.
