Available for sale is a quite small blown glass apothecary or pantry jar with its original tin lid.  The glass container measures 6 3/4" in overall height, 5 3/4" in base diameter, and dates from 1860 - 1885.  The lid is  slightly domed and the underside has a well kicked-in base with a large 2" pontil scar.  Of importance, the glass is clear with no stains, discoloration, or repair.  It is in excellent condition with no nicks or damage.  (For reference, my backboard is black.)
