This package consists of 8 live unsexed young adult crystal black shrimps.
All my shrimps are disease free and aquarium safe, bred in clean, shrimp only environments to ensure strong health and smooth acclimation.
These are great for any planted aquariums, they help maintain a clean habitat by feeding on algae and organic waste. Their unique color patterns and low maintenance requirements make them a vibrant addition to any freshwater aquarium.
Crystal red shrimps have the same characteristics as the Crystal black shrimps because they are two varieties of the same species. The gene for red coloration is less dominant in crystal black shrimp, so it is possible for crystal red shrimp to have black offspring and there is a small chance crystal black shrimp could have red offspring.

Tips:
Ensure your tank is fully cycled with plenty of biofilm and plants for grazing. Keep ammonia and nitrite at zero, and nitrates under 25ppm. Perform 10-15% water changes bi-weekly, and feed only 2-3 times per week. Remove any excess food after 2-3 hours after feeding and remove any excess food.
A well established tank is key for shrimplets to survive, as they reply of heavily biofilm during their early days.
Directions on arrival-
On arrival, do not float the bag in your tank. Do a slow one hour acclimation. Do not add any of the bag water in your tank.
Net your shrimps and add them to your tank.
Do not feed for the first 24 hours and only feed what they will eat in 2-3 hours after.
Keep the lights to a minimal for the first couple of days for less stress.
Shipping-
All our shrimps are shipped in breather bags packaged in a Styrofoam box and paper towels for cushion. We ship on Monday through Wednesday with USPS Priority Mail. We ship to all 49 States in the Continental United States. We do not ship Live Shrimps to Hawaii or Puerto Rico due to strict customs restrictions related to importing live animals into those states.
Live arrival Guarantee-
All shrimps are guaranteed to arrive alive. In rare case of DOA, please follow these steps:
Take a photo of the DOA shrimp inside the unopened bag and submit evidence within 1 hour of the delivery time.
If temperatures in your area on the day of delivery are below 40F or above 90F, post office pick up is required for the Live Arrival Guarantee. Your local post office will be able to hold your package for pickup if you call them prior to the day of delivery.
