Ovation USA 1769-ADII-5 Black 2009" Deep Bowl" w/OHC Used Acoustic Guitar

Founded in 1945, Kaman Corporation operates in the aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial markets. Founder Charles Kaman, an aerospace engineer and guitarist, founded Kaman Music in 1964 and launched the Ovation Guitars brand. Incorporating his aircraft engineering expertise, Kaman's innovative style, featuring a glass-fiber-reinforced plastic body back, has earned the Kaman Corporation a reputation for over half a century. Favorite guitarists include Paul McCartney, Al Di Meola, Yngwie Malmsteen, and even domestically, Takahiro Matsumoto and Yutaka Ozaki, among countless others. The specifications for this model include a solid AAA-grade Sitka spruce top, a five-piece maple and mahogany neck, and a jet-black ebony fingerboard and bridge, instantly recognizable as high-quality, carefully selected materials. It has a 1-11/16" (42.8mm) nut width, a long scale, and a thin, easy-to-grip neck shape. The body back is made of Ovation's signature Lyrachord material, which provides a clear sound and a wide range of tones that other brands cannot match. The Bowl-sized body provides a comfortable, comfortable feel. The distinctive carved bridge evokes the craftsmanship of the Adamas series. The soundhole features a simple, classic style. Other features include pearl-button Ovation-engraved tuning pegs, abalone inlays, purfling, and body binding, and Dunlop lock-compatible strap pins. And the sound, when played with an Ovation, is truly the DiMeola sound. It features a powerful sound image that fully captures the nuances of lyrical playing, a wide sound range that covers high-resolution, solid bass to brilliant highs, and a fast response that stands up to even the fastest playing. Not only does it provide a moderate amount of compression in the live sound, but the output sound is also lossless thanks to the OP-Pro preamp. Additionally, a mini switch on the side of the body allows for boost, a key feature of this model that's useful for solos. This is another essential element of the DiMeola sound, and its versatile use during performances broadens the range of playing styles.
