Commodore Computer Logic Board Re-Cap Upgrade Kits


For use with many Commodore computers, such as Commodore 64,64c,128,128 DCR, Plus 4, C-16

These kits includes the exact amount of Axial, Radial and Tantalum Capacitors necessary to recap your logic board. Each Kit Varies.  You must provide your own tools and equipment to perform the task.


I do not include soldering instructions or board instruction, some knowledge is required to perform this job, do some research before tackling the task. Make a map (take pictures) of the Caps that you remove, it's values and where they went.  This will help you in remembering where they go.  Take your time, do not force the caps off or on. Clean the mount pads.  Be gentle to your Retro Commodore and let’s make it last another 30 years.


RECAP KITs for COMMODORE


  • All kit contains all necessary capacitors in order to RECAP your ASSY Commodore motherboard (C64/VIC20/C16/C128/Plus4)
  • Each Capacitors goes thru testing personally by me, to make sure you receive the best.
  • Some Capacitors will be upgraded, Mainly in voltage, this will not affect performance  for example, since some capacitors are extremely rare to source like 1uF-16v these will be replaced with 1uF-50v, similar rare to source capacitors will be upgraded in the same manner.
