Single Card conditions:

NM-MT (Near Mint - Mint)

A NM-MT card can exhibit the following: a very slight wax stain on the reverse, the slightest fraying at one or two corners, a minor printing imperfection, and/or slightly off-white borders.

NM (Near Mint)

A NM card features slight surface wear visible upon close inspection. There might be slight fraying on some corners. Picture focus may be slightly out-of-register. A minor printing blemish is acceptable. Slight wax staining is acceptable on the back of the card only.

EX (Excellent)

Surface wear or printing defects are more visible. There may be minor chipping on edges. Focus of the picture may be slightly out-of-register. Several light scratches may be visible upon close inspection, but do not detract from the appeal of the card. The card may show some off-whiteness of borders and may have slight bending or indentation. Foil may have minor clouding.

PL (Played)

A card that will show significantly more wear or damage. May feature minor tearing, creasing or indentations. Surface scratches can be more visible. Major front and back whitening. Advanced stages of wear including scuffing, chipping, and staining.

We try our best to follow similar condition guidelines as those of the PSA Card Grading company. However, we cannot guarantee the condition or centering of any non-graded single cards.

Why we do not label single cards as Gem Mint?

Cards can have printing defects or various other signs of damage when pulled straight from packs and we therefore do not feel it would be right to label them as Gem Mint.

Please see example photos for an idea on condition. While these are high quality images, these scans may not show all bends on excellent and played cards. The exact condition of the card you receive may differ slightly from the example photo.
