The Kenwood KA-6004 is a 2-channel integrated amplifier manufactured in Japan between 1973–1976. It was part of Kenwood’s premium line at the time, delivering approximately 40 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Known for its natural sound signature, the KA-6004 has become a sought-after piece of vintage audio gear both for listening and for restoration projects. The wood veneer cabinet and brushed aluminum faceplate reflect the design aesthetics of the era, making it a functional piece of hi-fi history as well as a collectible.

This unit is currently set for 120V operation and comes with its original two-prong European plug along with a non-polarized adapter for U.S. use. No further accessories or manuals are included beyond what is shown.

CONDITION:

This is a vintage amplifier, sold for Parts/Repair. The unit powers on, but no further testing has been performed. The Speaker A button cover is missing; the Bass knob is missing; the Muting lever is missing; and the decorative cover for the Volume–Balance knob is missing. The wood cabinet has some scratches, scuffs, and small chips consistent with age and use including one larger wood chip on bottom right side of front panel. The cord, plug and adapter show typical vintage wear but remain functional. Please assume this unit will require service or restoration prior to full use.
