Up for your consideration is a stunning 1870’s mask or plaster piece from the 1870’s. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This piece was done by an art student from Italy. It is most likely a plaster cast or mask of a Roman or Greek Statue. It has been displayed in my home for many years. You can hang it or simply place is on a book shelf. It displays beautifully. The Antique Venus De Milo 1870's Plaster Art Academy Of Italy Greek Roman Mask Bust is a unique and one-of-a-kind sculpture from the Victorian era. Handmade in Italy, this Bust features a Greek Roman theme and showcases the art nouveau style. It’s very heavy for its size. Measuring 8 inches in length, 10 inches in height, and 5 inches in width, this piece captures the essence of ancient beauty with its detailed craftsmanship. This rare find from the late 19th century is a beautiful addition to any art collection, embodying the artistic spirit of the time period it was created in.
