Illustrated throughout with both colour and monochrome plates.
Volume I has five colour plates and thirteen monochrome plates, including a working colour pop up.
Volume II has four colour plates and twenty three monochrome plates, including a working colour pop up.
Volume III has three colour plates and two monochrome plates.
Volume IV has two colour plates and twenty seven monochrome plates, including a working colour pop up.
Volume V has nineteen monochrome plates. Plate I is detached.
Volume VI has four colour plates and four monochrome plates.
Volume VII has fourteen monochrome plates. Prior owner’s ink inscription from 1962 to the first free endpaper.
Collated, complete.
CONDITION
In the original publisher's cloth bindings. Externally, vert smart. There is some minor bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. The hinges are starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Plate I of Volume V is detached. Prior owner’s ink inscription from 1962 to the first free endpaper of Volume VII. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
