The Lionel O27 1973 The Southern Express Train Set 6-1384 is a vintage model train set made by Lionel in the United States. This ready-to-go set features a green steam engine and tender with a 1:48 scale, operating on a three-rail system with analog control. The set is powered by AC electricity and consists of pressed steel and plastic materials. With a transportation theme and being part of the Lionel franchise, this train set is a collectible item for enthusiasts of model railroads and trains from the 1970s. 

It has been stored in a plastic tote for the past 36 years. It has not been tested. There is no box.

It includes: 8302 Southern Express 2-4-0 Steam Locomotive and Tender with sound of chugging steam; 9013 Canadian National Hopper; 9136 Republic Steel Gondola with 2 Canisters; 9020 Union Pacific Flat Car with Stakes; 9066 Southern Express Caboose; 12 Curved Track; 4 Straight Track; 90 degree Crossover Track; and 4150 Train Master Transformer, Lockon, Wires, and Instructions.

It is complete except for the box. Forward and Reverse are controlled by the transformer.

Item will be shipped within two business days. Items will be shipped in new or used boxes as needed to protect the items.  Fragile items will be double boxed and padded and the shipping weight is based on that.  Please use the shipping calculator to determine the shipping cost.

There will be no charge for handling. We try to keep shipping costs as low as possible.
