Interesting metal Owl Trivet marked Taiwan.  Comparable eBay sales seem to be lacking the plastic windows, it seems like someone craftily used clear plastic melting beads to fill the gaps on the metal frame to make a sun catcher similar to a Makit & Bakit kit.  Not sure how it would react to having hot dishes placed on it, but cute nonetheless. 

Just over 5" by about 4.5", stands about 1/4" off the surface it sits on.
