Condition is very good. Complete set of old German music encyclopedia with a number of foldouts and some illustrations. 6 volumes numbered and does go from A to Z, spanning 1835-8, this is the first edition. Name E. D. Wagner in front of first volume, probably not closely related to Richard Wagner but this was the same time period and could be researched further. Text quality is very good and generally clean inside, there are only some pencil notes on some of the endpapers/pastedowns, possibly a very small number of markings in the text. Bindings are strong and holding well. Some loss of gilt printing on spines but most is still legible. Other wear on exteriors as shown. Size about 6x9" and 11 lbs.
