Presenting a vintage Pates Pottery Koala ashtray.
This piece features a koala perched on a branch to the centre. The earthy glaze tones give it a rustic and organic feel.
The base has been glazed in a deep rich Burgundy adding contrast to the mid brown glaze of the Koala.
This ashtray is fully stamped to the underside as pictured.
Presented in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There is a tiny area of glaze loss to the upper rim which I believe was done during manufacture. This is tiny and does not detract.
This piece measures 13cm in diameter and stands 7.5cm tall.
A perfect addition to any Australian pottery collection.
