Installation Notes:
- Must Remove Old Gasket: New gasket cannot be installed over or inside the old gasket.
- Inspect Intake Hat First: Essential to check the plastic intake hat for cracks (especially near the front riveted metal clip). A cracked hat will leak regardless of a new gasket.
- Installation Tip: Loosening the airbox hose clamp helps. Use a drop of lubricant on the inner rib if the hat is hard to seat.
