An AGMAX Flail Mower offers an effective solution for controlling excessive growth. AGMAX flail mowers, also known as mulching mowers or mulchers, are designed to mow and shred concurrently. The shredded material acts as an effective mulch, retarding regrowth, while providing a medium that will better release nutrients into the soil.

A key benefit of a flail mower is fire prevention. A tractor slasher can cut 6′ overgrown grass in most circumstances; however, the cut material will be left ostensibly intact. Once it dries in the sun, it becomes a potential source of fuel for bushfires. A flail mower overcomes this by pulverising and mashing the material, leaving it friable, compostable, and naturally fire-inhibiting.

ASSEMBLY

·        Implements are shipped on a pallet and are either enclosed in a steel frame or flat-packed.

·        Basic mechanical experience is recommended, as some assembly and predelivery are required.

·        If the implement has a gearbox, it will be pre-filled with oil before dispatch.

·        The operator should grease any grease points before use.

·        A PTO shaft will be supplied if required. The owner may need to cut it to suit the tractor.

 

WARRANTY

·        A two-year warranty is offered on all AGMAX implements, provided normal operator usage and correct maintenance are followed.

·        Consumables, such as belts, blades, tines, and tyres, are not covered by the warranty.
