While EDFC Active offered independent front/rear damping force adjustment and synchronized left/right damping force adjustment, EDFC Active Pro now offers four-wheel independent damping force adjustment. This allows for more precise settings tailored to the course and environment. Automatic damping force adjustment also operates based on the damping force of each wheel.

While EDFC Active features two automatic damping force adjustment mechanisms: acceleration/deceleration G-force and vehicle speed, EDFC Active Pro also adds automatic damping force adjustment based on cornering G-forces.

_x000D_ EDFC Active Pro now automatically adjusts damping force using vehicle speed signals acquired from the vehicle in addition to vehicle speed data based on accurate positioning from the GPS kit (sold separately). This enables stable automatic damping force adjustment even in environments where GPS information is difficult to obtain, such as inside tunnels.
