ALCAR STEEL WHEEL - Manufactured to OEM specification

ALCAR Steel wheels are manufactured on automated production lines. The bowl is created in several forming steps on transfer presses with a pressing force of 3,000 tons. The rims are created through various rolling operations. The material distribution is optimized by means of flow forming, which ultimately results in further weight savings.

Both components are assembled and welded fully automatically. The manufacturing process for steel wheels is so precise that the raw wheel can go straight to the paint shop without any mechanical post-processing, in which it is always given a cathodic replacement primer and, depending on the vehicle manufacturer, a top coat. All ALCAR steel and hybrid wheels are 100% TPMS-Fit.
