40" x 40" x 50" large brailer bag made by Nomar in Homer, AL, NASA used these durable mesh bags for parachute recovery thanks to it's durability.  These orange recovery bag is from Johnson Space Center and used for EFT-1, Experimental Flight Test 1 in 2014, which was Orion's first full test flight. launch and re-entry, with splash down in the pacific ocean.  This item is in good condition, and comes with original plastic bag affixed with decals from NASA describing it as "EFT-1 Main Recovery Bag". It is not know if this bag was a backup or used during recovery operations. No other history is known.
