This beautiful French textile dates to around the 1940s and is made from a delightfully nubby, heavy linen-cotton blend! The floral design was hand printed and is just so cheerful—with a charming scattered floral center and a vivid border of red, golden, and ochre roses with blue blooms and green leaves. Such a happy piece!
It’s wonderful as a wall hanging, table cover, or curtain ~ and would be equally at home in a farmhouse kitchen or a boho cottage-style interior.
The colors have aged beautifully and the print has a softness to it that gives the whole piece a warm and inviting feel. These vintage hand-printed florals are harder to find now, especially in this scale and palette.

Light Signs of time and use are often inherent in these wonderful antique textiles ~ Lovely condition and if thinking of cleaning, I recommend only dry cleaning as this is a hand printed textile and one can never be sure of what will happen with water!
