An antique solid brass trunk or chest lock with the original barrel key!  Marked "Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. New Britain CONN.".  An unusual size and a rare find!  I've restored trunks and collected locks for over 50 years and I know how hard it is to find locks of this type. 

 A lock style used from the 1880's to early 1900's on high quality trunks and cases by many makers.  

 Well made and HEAVY DUTY.    Complete with all parts and one original Corbin barrel key.

 

SIZE:  5" tall when together to the edges and 3 3/4" wide at the base receiver piece. The top brass piece is 3 1/2" wide and it is 4 1/2" tall.  The lock requires a shallow hole 1 1/2" diameter for the base.  

This lock is in very good used condition and works well.  It has a few small dings from use.  A great lock for an antique or new trunk or chest.  This style lock is not reproduced!  Hard to find, especially with the key.
