Chevron is an ancient motif with an inverted "v" shape—one of the oldest symbols in human history. David Yurman recognized something familiar in this simple form: viewed side-by-side, chevron’s zigzagging lines appear like a flattened image of David Yurman's signature Cable design. The collection, as our head of Men's Design notes, is about the play of past and present—a nod to the heritage and reflection of the brand. Like many David Yurman motifs, Chevron is a play on light and dark. The deeply carved valleys in the design are often oxidized to contrast with the highly polished flutes.
