The Vancouver Canadians of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1984
season with a record of 71 wins and 71 losses, finishing second in the
league's North Division.
The Canadians plated 608 runs, worst in
the circuit, and conceded 597 runs. Doug Loman paced Vancouver with 18
home runs and drove in 102 runs, while leading hitters with significant
playing time by connecting at a .324 clip. Juan Eichelberger, Tom
Candiotti and Scott Roberts topped the team with 8 wins each, and Scott
Roberts recorded a 3.58 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying
appearances.
