Up for your consideration is a stunning marble statue from France. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This piece had been displayed in my beach house for many years. It’s heavy for its size and very well carved. Most likely French and it probably dates to the mid to late 1800’s.
