This pair of glass bracelets was made to imitate And nephrite, which is a kind of the best white jade in China.

Its time frame is about in the mid last century.IT IS approximately 60mm inside diameter, 10mm thickness.

Condition: excellent,some minor surface pitting to be expected with age and use

Chinese Glass dates back to Xi Zhou Dynasty (1046-771BC).  During the late Qing, or Manchu period (1644-1912AD), glass center in Canton (Guang Zhou) made complicated beads. Brightly colored Chinese glass was often used to imitate semiprecious stone. The glass workshop of the imperial court produced beads for the members of the royal household and for export. Peking glass beads were hand-made one by one from natural materials and precious metals. They have brightly colors and classic styles, suitable for beading project and jewelry making project.
