Australasian Post Magazine

(renamed Aussie Post in 1997)

was Australia's longest running weekly picture magazine.

Starting in 1864 it had many changes along the way but always featured a uniquely Australian mix of scandal, sensationalism, human interest stories,

fashion, politics, culture and

entertainment.

From being found in most Australian homes, particularly in the 60s and 70s, the magazine ended  in 2002 unable to adapt to the changing times,

but still remains the longest running continuously published magazine in Australia.
