If you grew up in New Jersey you may recognize this. It's the plaster Frankenstein head that hung over the back room entrance at Lazaar's Stationers in Plainfield. They had a large costume and novelty section in the back and this guarded the entrance to the storage area. I acquired it from them when they went out of business in 1991. This is the store where Andy Warhol purchased the rubber skull he used in his Self-Portrait with Skull.
