I have a large number of antique watches to list from a deceased watchmakers estate.

All of these watches will require attention of some sort; they will not be in perfect working order. Some may run and simply need a routine clean but many will need some form of repairs. Please take the time to view all of the images and ask for additional ones if needed; the photographs are an integral part of the description. I am not a watchmaker but will do my best to give a reasonable visual description of any obvious issues. Please, if you do not know what you are buying DO NOT BID. If you have any concerns please ASK before placing a bid or making an offer.

My late husband was a watchmaker, he died 11 years ago and many of these pieces have not seen the light of day for over 30 years. Some were in his 'spares' pile and others in the never ending 'to do' drawer. If you are a collector or someone starting out on a horology course they could be an excellent hands-on and cost effective resource for you. I have, probably around 100+ wrist and pocket watches to list along with some parts and tools. Each listing takes me a few hours so it will take time to work through them.

This is an incomplete vintage Rolex wristwatch movement of round form. The top plate is marked 15 RUBIES SWISS MADE and the dial side (there is no dial), is marked ROLEX GENEVE
