During the 1920s into the 1930s a number of American glass companies produced a type of product known as stretch glass. Molded examples would be subsequently sprayed with a chemical creating an iridescent satin finish often times forming separations in the finish as it was reheated and then cooled. Some pieces exhibited a continuous multicolored finish such as this example. In the form of a handled chamber stick, this beautiful item reacts brilliantly in the presence of UV light. He is unmarked therefore could have originated from possibly Northwood, Fenton or several other glass companies known to produce style. The holder stands approximately 2 3/4” tall and measures 5 1/2” across the bottom. in original condition with no post factory damage or repairs. I did included a picture of a mold line at the top of the handle, this is part of the mold seam and not a crack in the handle. A perfect item to light up the room after dark. Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.
Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting numerous fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future.
Thank you.
