Canon PowerShot A520 4.0MP Digital Camera - Silver - Lens Stuck- Read

Tested with batteries and it turns on but when I try to take a photo it shuts off. Battery compartment is very corroded. I tried to clean it with vinegar but still very corroded. No memory card included sold as is for parts of repair.
