Replacement torque spring set from Polini suitable for a wide range of scooters which use the Piaggio 2-stroke / 4-stroke 50cc engine.
The springs press the gear on the rear converter onto the belt. It also creates pressure to shift the variator. A lighter pressure is required once a motor has been tuned to prevent the engine from moving into a dangerously high rev range. The pressure of the springs is closely tied to the variator. If a spring is fitted, it must be matched to the variator.

Racing Planet UK specialise in scooter parts and small capacity motorcycle parts, with everything from electrical parts, braking, cables and mirrors to engine, transmission, exhausts and accessories. Trading Since 2004 we have over 20 years of experience in the motor parts industry, which is backed by our relationship with Racing Planet Germany, also founded in 2004. Being market leaders in Europe, our German sister company source worldwide to bring the biggest range of products available to our customers through our UK distribution centre here is Stourbridge, West Midlands. We sell parts from high end European brands such as Malossi, Polini, Yasuni and Airsal to name a few, as well as in-house brands such as Naraku and 101 Octane where we can bring very affordable parts without compromising on quality.

Payment
We use eBay Managed Payments to process payments for purchases from our eBay store. eBay Managed Payments give buyers more payment options (credit, debit, and gift cards; Apple Pay; Google Pay; PayPal and PayPal Credit). No separate PayPal account required. This makes it easier for all parties involved. If there is a problem, we can both contact eBay directly. We've taken out the middleman, PayPal.
Shipping
We offer FREE DELIVERY on all ebay purchases. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a next day delivery service as orders are despatched from our warehouse in Germany to us here in the UK distribution centre, we then send out the order to you generally on a next day service once we receive it, meaning from the point of order it is a 2-3 working day service to you. Due to the massive range of parts we are offering it is not possible to stock hold at the UK distribution centre but having been in close operations with the warehouse in Germany for 15 years please rest assured your order will be processed and delivered to you as fast as possible.
We receive multiple order boxes from the warehouse in Germany on a daily basis by UPS. We have every box of orders flown over with UPS' fastest service, Air Express, enabling us to get your order to you in the quickest way possible.
Once we receive the order we ship the same day and use next day service with either DPD Next Day, Yodel 24 or Royal Mail 24. This service is free to you. A huge majority of orders are received within the 2-3 working day service but on the rare occasion that it is not fulfilled within this timeframe it will be down to a logistical issue often caused by customs / imports procedures beyond our control. If you experience a delay with the ETA please contact us via the ebay messaging system before leaving feedback and we will endeavour to advice and indicate what the issue is and how we can resolve it.
If you are located in Highlands or Islands the service will often be Royal Mail as it tends to be the quickest service. If it is above the Royal Mail weight limit we will use the couriers but it is often a 2 day service.
eBay Global Shipping Program:
We only ship outside the UK using eBay's Global Shipping Program. We do not control their shipping charges, nor their in-transit times. Shipments made through the eBay's Global Shipping Program, can only be returned at the expense of the buyer. Global Shipping items are subject to our standard return policy.

Racing Planet UK does not warrant that product images, product descriptions, or other content on the Platform are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
The images displayed are NOT stock images, they are taken of the actual product by our inhouse digital media team but updates in manufacturers designs may not be captured in the current images.
Return shipment costs when exercising of the right of cancellation/withdrawal
A customer has a right of cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs). The regular costs of the return postage are imposed on them, the customer, when exercising his right of the cancellation, unless the delivered product is not consistent with the ordered one. In all other cases the vender bears the costs for the return shipping.
Warranty
We do offer a 12 months parts only warranty. Goods are warranted for manufacturing faults only and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the goods are fitted as per manufacturer's instructions where available. In most cases goods purchased from the vender require a reasonable level of technical experience and expertise to ensure correct fitting. It may be the case that special tools are required to fit the parts and it is therefore recommended that goods be professionally fitted. If a warranty claim is requested by the customer, then we may ask for evidence that the part has been professionally fitted.
Electrical items
In most cases electrical items should be returned unopened in original packaging. On the odd occasion a customer has opened and attempted fitting but deem the product to be faulty we would require proof of vehicle application and would undertake testing to establish if the item is faulty. It may mean the part is required to be sent back to the supplier or manufacturer for their own testing before credit is offered.
Returns
At Racing Planet UK your satisfaction is our priority, after all we want to provide the best possible service so you can return to us within 30 days of the purchase, hassle free. As such we strive to provide the same top notch service during the return process as we do with the sale.
Rules on ReturnsWe offer returns up to 30 days from the purchase date. Items returned after 30 days of date of purchase will not be accepted and will be returned at the buyer's expense. All items returned for refund must be unused, in original packaging, with all instructions and literature. Any items that have been or appear to be worn or used, or are missing any of the above items can be refused.
All returns can be submitted via eBay's automated return processing.
Racing Planet UK is not responsible if the item being returned is damaged, as such we recommend taking care when packaging your item. Never ship an item back in the manufacturer's packaging, always use an over-box.
Exchanges
eBay's return process does not allow for exchanges. All Returns will be processed for refund and a new order should be placed for the correct item.
