Silver 14.15 cttw checkerboard citrine with white zircon accents in a women's ring size 8, stamped: 925 and China. The checkerboard faceting of the citrine extends all the way across the head/center stone of the ring. The genuine gemstone is held in place by double silver prongs in the corners of the ring. The prongs rise out of the silver scroll basket that holds and protects the ring from pavillion to culet. Each shoulder of the ring has two layers of two silver marquise shapes per layer. The top layer of silver marquise shapes holds a total of four prong set white zircons. The second layer of silver marquise shape frames do not have any zircons. The 925 silver band continues on to finish off the ring. The underside of the yellow citrine is open to allow light in, which enhances the stone's ability to sparkle and shine. The ring measures 12/16 inch from top to bottom (knuckle to wrist) and 8/16" across. Citrine is one of two birthstones for the month of November and has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. I purchased this ring from QVC, and this ring has only had one owner-me. This ring no longer fits my fingers comfortably. I am selling this gently worn ring from my smoke-free home. It is stored in the same box in which it will be shipped. This checkerboard citrine holds a large dose of sunshine and is sure to lift your spirits. The checkerboard faceting creates bouncing flashes of light. The silver is bright and shiny. This ring is a "honker" and is sure to get attention!
