A fantastic and rare example of an antique maternity corset from the 1910s! Warner’s Maternity No. F-116. Crisp cotton with simple band of lace trim across top. Double boning with extendable lace up panel up each side to accommodate a growing belly. Boning at front of corset doesn’t go all the way to the bottom. Four heavy duty hook and eye closures at front and four garters. Inside stamp boasts “Cotton Corset, Made in U.S. America” and “Boned with Rust Proof”.

I’ve exhausted my research capacity and can’t find anything pertaining to style F-116.

Corset is in good condition, has some spot throughout, lace at top of corset is a bit brittle, as is the narrow ribbon running through. Corset laces have some nicks and one end is missing an aglet.

As luck would have it, I acquired this corset when I was 7 months pregnant; for the life of me I can’t tell you why I didn’t take better photos.
